Aditya was educated at Millfield and the American College in London before entering the family business and associated companies. The family business mainly consists of SLD Defence Technologies and a major trading house. He is Managing Director of DSSI Group (headquarters in New Delhi and offices worldwide) and is an expert on offshore out-sourcing. The company, being highly diversified, has successfully promoted several North American companies and has been instrumental in putting together a JV with transfer of technology from Ferrell of USA to manufacturing the first ever wheel & axel plant for the Indian Railways, in addition to importing electrical equipment for the Indian Railways Locomotives from General Electrics. Aditya also owns and manages a central London property portfolio Leaderwick (including the Michelin rated Tamarind restaurant and the recently opened Imli restaurant in Soho). He is also a partner in a financial services business in investment banking/private equity. |
