Alessandro graduated in Business Economy at Italy’s leading University Bocconi in Milan. He rose through the ranks as a consultant in mergers & acquisitions until 1996 and subsequently published various articles and books on finance. In 1996 he turned to the commercial re-development of one of the world’s largest creative districts – the Tortona area in Milan. He eventually transformed a huge 3,500,000 million sq/ft area into buildings and projects dedicated to the art, design and the fashion world. The Tortona area houses creative companies as well as several leading fashion brands such as Tod's, Zegna, Diesel, Armani, Hugo Boss, Esprit, Zara, Belstaff, Brioni amongst many others. Earlier this year, Cajrati Crivelli relocated to London with his wife and 2 children in order to pursue the international expansion of his property group. His first venture is the acquisition of the Royal Mail sorting office in Victoria. This project is intended as an ‘art business centre’, and the well-known auction house Phillips de Pury & Company is amongst the first to confirm their presence within the building. |
