David Tang was educated in Hong Kong, Cambridge, London and Peking, where he was also a lecturer in the early 1980s. He is the founder of the China Clubs (Hong Kong, Peking and Singapore), the Shanghai Tang stores, Havana House and Pacific Cigar Co Ltd (which are the exclusive distributors for all Havana brands in Canada, Asia and Australia). More recently David Tang has also opened China Tang at The Dorchester Hotel. Tang is also a director and adviser on a number of boards which include Tommy Hilfiger. |
