Mr. Cannan joined Bain Capital in 2012 and is a Managing Director.  Prior to his current role, he was a member of Bain Capital Credit focused on investing in financial services and involved in the strategic development of Bain Capital Insurance.  Previously, Mr. Cannan was based in Hong Kong where he helped to establish and expand Bain Capital Credit Asia.  Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Cannan was a an Associate and Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman Sachs & Co.  Mr. Cannan received a B.S. from Case Western Reserve University.
